His exact earnings are not publicly displayed but take a look at his career journey so far. Carl started his career journey working as a sous chef at a restaurant named Dish in Clifton, New Jersey.

He then went on to become an executive chef at Sabor in North Bergen, New Jersey. After that, the new owner of Stephen’s Cafe of North Bergen hired him as a consultant chef for the relaunch. This was back in July 2002.

Ruiz’s talent quickly became high in demand as he soon after got another offer as an executive chef. He worked on West 27th Street, Manhattan, at Son Cubano.

Succeeding that, he decided to move to New York City at the tail end of 2010.

He actually won the most money as a competitor on the “Guy’s Grocery Games” show. Ruiz and Riccio later divorced, with Riccio keeping Marie’s Italian Specialties after the divorce.
